Mark Rude
Managing Partner
Mark joined New York Life in 1997 as an agent in Hot Springs, SD which is a part of the Wyoming General Office. He served as an agent for 18 years. He was promoted to partner in 2016 and was the recipient of many recruiting and leadership awards, including View from the Top-Partner award in 2016 and 2017 as well as the Pacific Agencies New Partner of the Year award in 2016. In 2018, he was honored with the appointment to Managing Partner of the Wyoming General Office.
Mark grew up in Rapid City, SD and graduated from Central High School. He attended Huron College in Huron, SD and graduated with a secondary education degree. He taught high school and coached multiple sports in Hot Springs, SD. In later years, he coached various youth sports.
Mark is married to his wife, Kellie, and they have 2 sons, Aaron and Brady, a daughter-in-law, Katie, and two grandchildren.
Mark enjoys hunting, fishing, watching college wrestling, and spending time with his grandchildren. On summer evenings, Mark enjoys grilling a steak and playing Yahtzee with his wife.
